MAX LORENZI

 STAND-UP COMEDIAN

BIO
"A disillusioned seducer, cuddly yet with an acerbic wit, freeing audiences of the mundane one joke at a time"

"Don Juan with a microphone and emotional pain, a true renaissance man"

"A romantic rebel with a cause and OCD"

Max is complex and tortured, but he always manages to make himself laugh. His favorite book which saved his sanity after his father died is "The Denial of Death" by Ernest Becker. He only drinks wine, red wine, Rex Goliath Pinot Noir as a daily wine and any 2007 Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir on special occasions. His favorite opera is Tosca. He has been to Build A Bear twice, he has done leaf rubbings in the park, charcoal drawings of girlfriends bathed in sunlight, kissed women in the rain as tears ran down their face, played with wolves and danced all night long. Asking for help at Express For Men scares him but he does it. He is extremely sensitive to music, and enjoys watching the Notebook and The Parent Trap on ABC Family alone because it makes him cry and feel human. He yells (mostly in the shower) and has a temper at times (genetic) but exercises hard to control it. His mother has always known that he was different, suffering from feelings of unreality as a young boy and ironing his own clothes. Max has OCD,
and he likes things clean and organized because it makes him feel safe, grounded, yet he is still easy to be around because he hides it and cleans after company leaves, never when they are there. He loves women, and believes that it is a crime on all men when a woman does not have a smile on her face and a rose in her hand. He uses Shea butter as a facial moisturizer. He knows how to weld and can do 50 one arm push-ups. The soundtrack to his life is "Not Enough Time" by INXS. Max's comedy is based around his experiences, his life, loves, failures, quirks, sharing them with his audience so they can laugh together, this is what makes Max happiest.

"When life is at its darkest, look for the light and follow the sound of laughter, that is where

you will find..... Max..... laughing to himself"
